Malachy Tallack

Gutter is thrilled to welcome Malachy Tallack as the magazine’s new Managing Editor.

With past experience editing Shetland Life, the founding of online magazine The Island Review, a comprehensive familiarity with Scotland’s literary network, and a strong vision for Gutter’s future, Malachy stood out as the ideal candidate to take on this vital role.

Malachy says:

“I couldn’t be more delighted to have been offered this opportunity. Gutter is such an important and exciting part of the Scottish literary scene, and the team behind it have done – and continue to do – an incredible job. It’s an honour to be joining them now, and to have the chance to help shape the magazine’s future. There may be a few changes ahead, but I’m determined that Gutter will continue to showcase and promote the very best writing from Scotland and beyond.”
